Client was walking though a parking lot and tripped and fell on an unpainted speed bump. As a result of the fall, our client suffered a wrist fracture requiring surgery and a life-altering traumatic brain injury requiring ongoing medical treatment and inability to work in the future because of the serious injuries she suffered.
Client was riding a scooter when he was struck by a driver who ran a stop sign. Our client suffered multiple fractures, including a broken ribs, a broken sternum and broken clavicle.
Our client was driving close to home straight on residential road with the right of way when the other driver pulled out from a side street from a stop sign and T-boned our client’s vehicle. Our client had a long history of spinal issues, but we were able to convince the insurance company that the crash seriously aggravated a pre-existing neck condition causing the need for cervical spinal surgery.
Our client had just pulled out from a stop sign and had turned left when another car coming from the opposite direction lost control of their vehicle and crashed into our client’s vehicle. After hiring an accident reconstruction expert, our firm had solid evidence that the other driver was speeding and that his excessive speed was likely a cause of the car accident.
Client suffered a complex ankle fracture requiring surgery after slipping on wet leaves that were not properly cleared on a walkway at her apartment complex.
Client was rear-ended in traffic with very minimal damage to his vehicle. As a result of the collision, however, our client suffered disc herniations/permanent injury to his neck/cervical spine for which spinal surgery was recommended.
Our client, who was only a 4-year old child, was at a neighbor’s house playing in the kitchen when the neighbor’s dog lunged and bit our client in the face. Our client only had minimal treatment with a minor facial scar, but had the option for scar revision therapy in the future.
Client was cut off by another driver resulting in sideswipe damage to her vehicle and a permanent low back injury. She was evaluated by a neurosurgeon who gave an opinion that she did not need surgery now, but may need surgery at some point in the future.
Our client stopped at a stop sign and began to drive through the intersection when another vehicle ran a stop sign and impacted the front driver’s side of our client’s vehicle and then left the scene. Our client suffered a low back, hip, and a knee injury/meniscus tear that would likely require a surgery in the future. The driver who evaded the scene of the accident then called the police, spinning a tale that our client was the one who left the scene. Based on that false narrative, the police initially found our client at fault for the accident. After a thorough investigation though, our firm was able to determine surveillance video from a nearby home’s ring camera which provided our client’s version of what happened.
Our client was a passenger in a family member’s vehicle when a pickup truck pulled out in front of them at a Walmart parking lot without right of way crashing into the client’s vehicle. Our client was 62 years of age by the time the case resolved, and she had a long history of neck and back injuries and needed spinal fusion surgery at some point in the future. With the right medical expert, we were able to convince the insurance company that the relatively minor car accident aggravated her pre-existing neck and back condition and made her condition worse.
Client was rear ended by another vehicle causing a low back injury that required ongoing therapy, pain injections, and possible spinal surgery in the future.
Client was driving when another vehicle rear ended our client’s vehicle. Our client suffered a low back injury, concussion and later developed post-concussive syndrome.
Client was driving when another vehicle, operated by a drunk driver, turned left in front of our client’s vehicle causing a head on collision. Our client suffered a low back injury and concussion.
This was a contested liability case where our client, a truck driver, was fueling up at a gas station when our client witnessed another car accident. When our client ran over to provide assistance, another vehicle speeding through the accident scene struck the client in the road, causing serious injuries. Police officers who investigated the accident found our client at fault for the accident, but thorough investigative work by our firm revealed that the other driver was speeding and a likely cause of the accident and injuries to our client.
Client was driving home at night when another car crossed over into our client’s lane on a road in Westport, CT and hit our client’s car head on causing the car to flip over. Client suffered neck compression fractures and tinnitus (or ringing in the ear) following the car accident, but luckily made a full recovery. Unfortunately, the other driver only had minimal insurance, but after skillful negotiation, the insurance company finally agreed to pay the maximum insurance limits available.
Client was pushed by her boyfriend to the ground during a fight at their residence causing client to suffer a broken collar bone and fractured rib. The insurance company initially took a “no pay position” denying coverage for our client’s injuries before filing suit. Our firm took a very aggressive approach by filing a pre-judgment remedy (PJR) and after a highly contested hearing, we convinced the Judge to attach a lien to the abuser’s home. After over a year of litigation, the insurance company agreed to pay out a six-figure settlement without going to trial.
Client was a passenger when a friend who was driving was involved in a head-on collision. The client was only 29 years old at the time of the accident, and had a long history of hip dysplasia and eventually would need a total hip replacement even before the car accident. Our firm successfully claimed and provided evidence that the accident aggravated her hip condition and accelerated a need for double hip replacement surgery. This was a very tough case to prove both liability and causation of injury, but in the end, we were able to get it done for our client.
